Practical information / registration:

The day starts by boat to Cacilhas, followed by the incredible Cais do Ginjal, full of stories, ruins, urban art and fishermen on the degraded pontoons.
At the end of the pier, in a less explored area, almost under the 25 Abril bridge, we climb the steepest slope of the day for a visit to the Cristo-Rei, the great icon of the south bank.
We cross old Pragal then take the subway for the second part of the walk towards the calm and
rural world of old farms, until we reach an enormous abandoned Military Fort where we’ll
lay a towel for a picnic with a sublime view of the Atlantic Ocean.
We’ll go down an isolated trail towards Cova do Vapor, a fishing village that we’ll traverse while learning about its history, until we’ve reached
the beach where we’ll relax a bit.
The return is by boat, leaving Trafaria towards Belém where we’ll arrive at 17:30.
And because seeing from afar clarifies our senses, when you return to the movement of the historic center, you will feel yourself in a new Lisbon - more organic, real and human. That is the mission of our day.
