Caucasus discovery
In Portugal we claim to be the garden of Europe. Caucasus claims to be the balcony.
So we live on the opposite sides of this continent, under so many different influences and landscapes, but there is something strong that unites us. Perhaps the geographic isolation that shaped our character and developed this immense pleasure to sit around a table for eternal hours just eating, toasting and laughing.
On this 11 day trip through Armenia, Nagorno Karabak and Georgia, we explore hidden convents in the Caucasus mountain ranges, ex-Soviet cities where time has stopped, countries that officially do not exist, young and surprisingly vibrant capitals.
note - the tour is officially in portuguese but I'm happy to translate it if it's needed.
Marocco: bazaars, skies and deserts
Morocco is Africa around the corner. The country has exotic landscapes and markets, the good mood of the Berbers, the tremendous skies and of course the desert, where we spend most of the time on this tour, whether in dunes, stony land or the green lines of the oasis. From Fes to Marrakesh this is a great journey that takes place in a week and give us that peaceful state of mind that we can only find in the desert.
